We have some openings in our 3 year old class for the fall. This class meets Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am till noon. We start the day after Labor day and go till the 3rd week in May. We have a wonderful curriculum that expands on creativity, imagination, and exploration. Our three year-olds learn letter recognition along with sounds. They work on writing their names. They do letter games and find their names in the classroom. Our classes count everything; how many kids are in the class today; how many red markers are in the marker bin...how many kids have blue snack bags...etc... Each day offers a new way to teach when we incorporate our children into the learning.process.  Young 4's are welcome in this class. Our teachers have a wonderful way of helping children grow from each child's own starting point. Each child is someone special in our school. 
As our children move into the 4/5's classes they learn letter recognition, phonics, letter writing and making words with letters. Along with our wonderful curriculum, our teachers incorporate seasons and the holidays to enhance everything we do here at Ark 2 Preschool.
Our 3's through 5's also have monthly chapel time with Pastor Steve. He usually has a special Bible story to share with a take home color sheet so the children can share the story with their parents.
3's through 5's also have monthly Fruit of the Spirit time with Mrs. Kolb. The children learn little songs or finger plays that go along with the Fruit of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, faithfulness and self-control. The children teach the Fruit of the Spirit to the congregation in May along with our Preschool Sunday.
Our 3's through 5's also have inspiration art class monthly with Director Miss Debbie. They also have music practice with Miss Debbie who leads and directs our Christmas program and our closing program music.
So as you can see, we are busy at the Ark. We are busy growing and learning and having fun along the way.
Our mommy and me class has a few openings for the fall. This class meets one day a week for one hour along with a parent, grand-parent, or any adult the parent chooses to bring their child to this class. This class has play time, a short activity and craft, and some music or story at circle time. One and Two year-olds can attend this class. This is great to help children grow and know our school. It is also great for parents to meet other parents and to experience Ark 2 Preschool from a classroom view. This class is very popular, so we started a Monday class which will meet 9:30-10:30am.

 Playground Tuesday is June 27th 9am till 1pm.  Everyone is welcome!

15 kids enjoyed playground Tuesday yesterday. They had a great time. Please note that next Tuesday June 27th  is Playground Tuesday and all are welcome. Please note that there is no playground Tuesday on July 4th and there is no Playground Tuesday the week of July 10th because the grounds are used for VBS. If you haven't registered your children yet for VBS, you can do so online at christhamilton.org. VBS runs 9am till noon the week of July 10th. There is no fee and all are welcome. Playground Tuesdays will return after VBS July 18th.

At Ark 2 Preschool we see beyond the school year for our students. Some students will return in the fall and some students will go on to kindergarten. We traveled the school year for nine months together. We understand children and we know that they feel a loss at the end of the school year. They miss their teachers and they miss their friends. That is the reason we started Playground Tuesdays. This is a time to meet up with friends and their parents.  It is also a time for new students to enjoy the playground which will be part of their new school days in the fall. Understanding children and recognizing each child as unique is what makes Ark 2 so special. Turn out at Playground Tuesday speaks for itself. Last week 30 children were on the playground laughing, running and climbing in pure joy!  Our school is not closed for the summer but open on Tuesdays from 9am till 1pm because we care and because we go above and beyond in all we do for kids. Everyone is welcome to our playground Tuesdays! 9am till 1pm.  Make new friends! Old Friends, new friends and new students coming to school here in the fall. This is a great opportunity to help your preschooler become acquainted with Ark 2 Preschool. Our playground Tuesdays are a huge success and the turn-out speaks to what Ark 2 Preschool means to the community. We have students returning from elementary school just to hang out with us and say hi!  Come and see for yourself!
